What are the advantages and disadvantages of removable and non-removable battery

Let’s see a good between these two

Removable battery

As the name suggests

We can remove the battery in removable battery phones.

Non-removable battery

User can’t remove the battery from non-removable battery phone but the battery can be removed by the repairman or some tech experts

Now let’s consider the advantages of removable battery

ADVANTAGES OF REMOVABLE  BATTERY

removable battery

  1. Phones with removable battery have an advantage of replacing it by yourself by buying a new one when the existing battery had become died There is no need of searching for a smartphone repairman or a service centre to just replace an old battery

  1. You can handle a spare battery with yourself in case of an emergency or while travelling to escape from the crisis of battery charge

I usually handle 2 spare batteries with me to fuel my phone while travelling long distance but the instance had changed over time, now most of the people are aware of power banks

Power banks got its popularity within half a decade due to its immense features like easy to handle, safe, easy to store and much more

  1. Removable batteries can be easily removed and dried in case battery got immersed in water while it can’t be done in non-removable batteries

DISADVANTAGES OF REMOVABLE BATTERY

  1. When a removable battery falls from a height, it will split into many pieces but it’s not the case of the non-removable battery
  2. Smartphones having removable batteries look a little bit bulkier than the smartphones having the non-removable battery

ADVANTAGES OF NON-REMOVABLE BATTERY

  1. Smartphones with Non-removable batteries is more compact and thin when compared with smartphones with removable batteries because non-removable battery smartphone need only less space for battery
  2. Smartphones having non-removable batteries look a step ahead in security in cases of the phone being stolen

The chances of recovery are high because the thief can’t remove the battery from the smartphone

  1. People used to replace the defected battery with some cheap batteries to save some pennies and blame the smartphone companies about phone blast or any serious issues caused by the defected battery but they don’t blame themselves for using a cheap battery

This problem can be easily solved by smartphone manufacturers by placing non-removable batteries in smartphones

  1. The chances of dust entering into the smartphone are very less in a smartphone having the non-removable battery

DISADVANTAGES OF NON-REMOVABLE BATTERY

  1. For changing the battery, you need to hurry to the service centre while in smartphones with the removable battery can be done by yourself which intends to save a lot of time in the busy life
  2. In removable battery phones you can carry an extra battery to charge reuse but in case of the smartphone with non-removable batteries

we can’t do this

we have compared the advantages and disadvantages of smartphones having the removable battery as well as non-removable battery

OUR OPINION

We don’t suggest non-removable battery over removable battery or vice versa because we can’t removable and non-removable to compare a smartphone

We should look at other aspects like build quality, battery capacity, ram memory, internal storage, camera clarity etc because these aspects are more important than the type of battery

So

In future

when you choose smartphone don’t consider the type of battery as a deciding factor

Hope you understand well about these type of batteries
